Online gaming firm ComeOn.com has been honored with a Guinness World Record for the biggest ever jackpot payout in an online slot machine online online game. The lucky winner is a young man college student who received ?11,736,375 (?10,272,600, $15,844,900).
The official record entry in the Guinness World Records says: “The biggest jackpot payout in an online slot machines online game is ?11,736,375, won by a gambler on ComeOn.com on the ‘Mega Fortune’ game paid out to an unseen player in Norway, on 24 September 2011.”
When contacted, the winner, who’s from the local community of Hordaland in Norway said that he went home after an evening out, watched a movie and enjoyed a couple games on ComeOn.com as he could not get to sleep. The decision to play on-line made him 11.7 million euros wealthier. Naturally, it did not help him sleep, and he confessed that he stayed awake until 06:00 due to great shock.
